New members of all abilities are welcomed at Maidenhead Rowing Club, from the experienced athlete to the complete beginner, as well as those who just wish to enjoy the vibrant social scene. The active rowing and sculling membership ranges in age from about 12 to over 70, with equal numbers of men and women. The only restriction for new active members is that you must be able to swim 100 metres in light clothing.
The club rows all year round (river conditions permitting) with regular land training sessions as well as training on the water. There are a range of different squads to choose from to suit any ambition, for those who want to row for recreational pleasure, to those who want to compete for medals at Henley Royal Regatta and the National Championships. For further information on the squads, follow the links below:

Juniors:
Maidenhead Rowing Club is also part of “Project Oarsome”, a national scheme to encourage rowing clubs to work with local schools to promote the sport of rowing. There is currently a large and thriving junior squad enjoying lots of success and having a lot of fun! Junior places are very restricted.
