Crews Prepare for Tideway at Reading University Head |

The Women's Squad sent three eights to Reading University Head in preparation for the Head Of The River Race on the Tideway the following weekend. The 4.6km downstream course proved a valuable shakedown for the crews, still settling into their positions after recent seat trials.
The girls performed well in their respective events. The Senior 2 crew finished 4th in 16min 14.6s, only seven seconds adrift from the winning Oxford Blue boat, Osiris. The Senior 3 crew were the fastest 'club' crew, also finishing 4th in 17min 10.9s. The Senior 4 boat finished 6th in a respectable 18min 9.2s for this developing crew.
