Women's Henley winners Natalie Trinder and Ally Brooks swapped their sculling blades for microphones when they guested on Cookham Summer FM's breakfast show on Wednesday morning.
The girls were asked in to chat about their Henley experiences and show off their winners medals. From the station's website:
Gorgeous Natalie Trinder and Ally Brooks are the first rowers from Maidenhead to win the international Henley Women's Regatta. Natalie won in the senior scull pairs and Ally in the junior scull pairs. "The Americans were 6ft 5, and looked a bit scary, but we sculled past them and the Canadians to win gold!" says Natalie in a classic bit of English understatement! It's an extraordinary achievement for the 18 and 19 year olds and to celebrate, Natalie is off on her Gap Year tonight! Watch out World - the Cookham girls are on their way to Rowing glory!
