Women's Squad Win at Upper Thames Fours & Small Boats Head Print E-mail

Six Maidenhead crews competed over the 3km time trial on Sunday 29th October. The Women's S3 4x of Vicky Sims, Sarah Archibald, Anne-Fleur van Diem and Natalie Trinder came out on top, winning their category by a slender 2 seconds, ahead of crews from Upper Thames, University of London and Oxford Brookes, in a time of 11:16.2 . The second S3 quad came 7th in a time 12:36.2 .

In the Women's S3 4+, the  top crew managed 5th spot in a time of 12:13.4, 24 seconds behind the winners from Oxford Brookes and the second crew finished 14th in a time of 13:09.4 .

Elsewhere, the Men's Veteran D 4+ finished 2nd in a time 12:44.5 and a Women's J15 2x also finished second in 13:06.5, only 2 seconds off the winners from Upper Thames.
