Two women's crews entered the Upper Thames Small Boats Head, a 2 mile upstream race held on the Henley stretch of the Thames. Vicky Sims, Natalie Trinder and Sarah Archibald entered Senior 2 and Senior 3 quad scull events, finishing 5th in Senior 2 in a time 13:01.78 and also 5th in Senior 3 with an improved time of 12:39.29. Helen Stewart, Jo Macbeth, Claire Wallace, Hayley Wildmore and Emma Sannerkin (cox) competed in the Senior 2 coxed fours, finishing runners up to Wallingford in a time 13:24.49.
