Maidenhead Rowing Club views safe and responsible rowing as a foundation for successful recreational and competitive rowing. The club's mission statement is that "To row well is to row safely"

  1. Safety Plan
  2. Night Time Rowing Rules
  3. Status Board Settings
  4. ARA reporting procedures for all types of incidents

Accident Reporting:

For reporting accidents/incidents, members must note the details in the log book in reception and if the incident involves injury and/or damage valued at more than £100, then the incident needs to be reported to the ARA. For reportable incidents please follow the instruction on the following web site http://www.thames-rrc.org/safety/ under ARA Recordable Incidents, filling in the Incident Report Form which is downloadable at http://www.ara-rowing.org/publication/incident-report-form. On completion, this report needs to be returned to the Club Water Safety Adviser for signing who will then send it on to the Regional Water Safety Adviser and copied to the ARA.
