 On a glorious spring day a terrific day's racing against the visiting crews from Goring and Reading saw Maidenhead gain victories in every category. Stiff opposition from the visitors led to some very close fought races and there was tough rivalry between competing crews from within Maidenhead's Rec Squad and Development Women. The day finished with an exciting re-run for the Maidenhead Vesta mixed Eight crew who won in convincing style against Goring's mixed eight who gallantly put themselves forward as a scratch crew on the day and raced an exciting finale for the day's events.
