Maidenhead Win 9 Events At Wallingford LDS |

Maidenhead Rowing Club finished 9 events in 1st place at Wallingford long distance sculls.
Maidenhead Rowing Club recorded a number of impressive wins at this years Wallingford Long Distance Sculls held over a challenging 4000 metres up-stream course.
Maidenhead entered athletes ranging from 14 through to 75 in this years event. Winning crews for Maidenhead were as follows: Winning Crews: Time Comment.
1. Louise Entwistle & Ally Brooks 15:38secs. Won WJ16 2x division. A very comprehensive win, 59 secs ahead of nearest rival and winning time placed them 2nd overall of the senior womens doubles.
2. Natalie Trinder & Jo Wright 16:21secs. Won WJ18 2x division. A great win by 16seconds over a good Sir William Borlase double.
3. Aimee Campbell & Chrissie Wright. 17:05 secs Won WJ15 2x division. Another excellent division win, 15 seconds ahead of Lady Eleanor Holles School.
4. Sarah Archibald 16:42secs Won WS3 1x division. Finished 17 seconds ahead of Barker from Wallingford. 5. Louise Entwistle 17:09 secs Won WJ16 singles (time also beat all WJ18 single scullers). A huge 67 seconds ahead of nearest rival.
6. Ally Brooks 17:55secs Won WJ15 singles by 19 seconds. Would have finished in 2nd place in the higher WJ16 class.
7. Rebekah Kerns 18:47secs Won WJ14 single sculls by 4 secs from Alice Ancora of Maidenhead in 2nd place.
8. Bob Wilson 19:37secs First place - Veteran G category.
9. Karen Phillips 19:52secs First place - Veteran D category.

Dave Jones & Max Gerrard 14:16secs J18 2x sculls finished in second place which was an excellent result as Max is only J16.
Mike Foran 16:22secs 5th place in S4 single sculls.
Roland Peters 16:38secs 10th place in S4 single sculls.

Matt Best 16:43secs 3rd place J16 single sculls.
