Hello All,

Another weekend of some good racing from some of our club members at Henley Sculls 2014, the conditions on the river as you probably know have changed in the last few days but never the less Maidenhead had some strong performances notably good performances coming from our Wj14 girls coming in a solid 3rd and 4th behind very strong Henley RC A and B crews. Results can be found hereSo please take a look.

As said the river conditions have changed in the last few days and a few red boards have been re appearing on stretches above us please make sure you keep an eye on what the river is doing in the next few days.

We have a busy day at the club next saturday the 22nd, firstly the club Time Trial (depending upon river conditions) which is 2x 3000m if your up for this please make sure your entries are into Billy Brooks by Wednesday so an official starting order can be published. And secondly we have the yearly club AGM at 11.30am in which all members are welcome and are urged to pop along to see how things are progressing so please do come along.

A small side note, please make sure that you take all you boats of the trailers and put them back into the boathouse after a days racing unless the trailers return late as this seems to be a club policy that has slightly slipped through no fault of anyone but if we could possibly make sure this happens it would be great, its just in order to make sure our boats stay safe and out of harms way.

And finally if you don’t know already the club Christmas party is on the 19th of December (friday) please have a look at the below poster, it would be great for all members to come along!!!

I hope you all have a great week (hopefully with some river time) and hope to see you at the club TT and AGM on saturday.

Regards,

James
