• Maidenhead Rowing Club has been running its Regatta on the Thames each August for over 100 years.
• Last years’ event attracted more than 500 spectators with competitors from more than 25 rowing clubs.
• More than 10 of Maidenhead Rowing Clubs own members are GB junior team members.
• You could be supporting our future 2012 and beyond Olympic rowing medallists.

The day begins with heats in all categories - single, double and quad sculling (two blades each) and pairs, fours and eights sweep oar rowing (one blade each). Last year this meant a total of 130 races with the first heat starting at 09.00 and the last final finishing at 17.30.

If you were to make a donation to a category which includes juniors (boys and girls), and seniors, novices and veterans (men and women) the dedication you give will be mentioned both in the Regatta programme and over the tannoy each time a heat, quarter, semi and final race in that category takes place.

Race Sponsorship

If you were to sponsor a category which also includes juniors (boys and girls), and seniors, novices and veterans (men and women) your organisations name will be mentioned both in the Regatta programme and over the tannoy each time a heat, quarter, semi and final race in that category takes place. In addition to this your organisations logo will be placed onto the MRC Regatta webpages together with a link to your own website.

Section Sponsorship

Alternatively, your organisation could benefit from many other promotional opportunities by agreeing to sponsor either, the regatta enclosure or the competitors village.

In return for this in addition to the above, your organisation will:

• receive coverage in any pre-event literature, press releases, etc
• an advert in the Regatta programme
• be invited to award the prizes to winning crews
• can invite staff and customers to attend the event and enjoy a 1 hour trip up and down the river
