Information

The Maidenhead Regatta is fast becoming one of the most important social and sporting occasions for the East Thames Valley. Last year it hosted athletes from rowing clubs throughout the country, achieved coverage on national radio and attracted many visitors from the region.

As with many events of this nature, Maidenhead Regatta is organized and supported almost entirely by the members of Maidenhead Rowing Club and is used as an occasion to help fund the club for the coming year and to purchase new boats. The rowing club supports several local schools and has over 100 junior members, some of whom are current Great Britain Junior Squad members and hopefuls for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
