Men's Squad

Training and racing throughout the year, the aim of the Men’s squad is to race and win at national and local events. With a dedicated coaching team, the training programme comprises both water and land training and is designed to develop athletes so that they realise their potential and perform at the highest level. The Squad uses a range of high quality boats and excellent land training facilities. Included in the membership fee is use of 17 well maintained Concept II ergos, and a high quality weight training facility at a nearby school. When our picturesque 3km stretch of the Thames is unavailable due to flooding, water work is still possible as the Club is situated just one mile from Dorney Lake, the site of the 2012 Olympic Regatta.

Training Times

The Squad trains on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 0730 and on Monday to Thursday evenings at 1830.
