New Members

New members of all abilities are welcomed at Maidenhead Rowing Club, from the experienced athlete to the complete beginner, as well as those who just wish to enjoy the vibrant social scene. The active rowing and sculling membership ranges in age from about 12 to over 70, with equal numbers of men and women. The only restriction for new active members is that you must be able to swim at least 50 metres in light clothing.

The club rows all year round (river conditions permitting) with regular land training sessions as well as training on the water. There are a range of different squads to choose from to suit any ambition, from those who want to row for recreational pleasure to those who want to compete for medals at Henley Royal Regatta and the National Championships.

For further information on the Club look here and the Rowing menu at the top has information on each squad.

There is a short film about the club here.

For those who have never rowed before, our Learn2Row course is run every year.
